Office Bearers
The CRED is managed by an Executive Committee comprising the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Joint Secretary, the Treasurer and other Executive Committee members. All the office bearers and Executive Committee members are PhD holders and established researchers in their respective fields.

The vision of the Centre for Research, Extension and Development” (CRED) is that “knowledge is for accelerating development and for optimizing welfare of the Society”.

Mission
The mission of the Centre for Research, Extension and Development” (CRED) is to promote, disseminate and preserve knowledge so as to augment human welfare. The main objective of the “Centre for Research, Extension and Development” (CRED) is to promote research, extension and development in Science, Social Sciences, Environment, Public Health, Governance, Public Policy, Education, Information Technology and Management through various activities.
What we do

Extension Activities
Flashcards, revision games, spelling games, and pronunciation activities are all examples of extensions for quick revision. An extension activity can also serve to review what has come before in previous units.

Research
CRED has a highly competent and multi-disciplinary team of researchers working in different areas like Economics, Social Science, Education, Environment, Public Administration and Governance, etc

Training
CRED conducts regular training programmes on Research Methodology, Communication Skills, Participatory Governance and such other areas. More…

Academic Discussions
CRED conducts meetings, round tables and academic discussions on a variety of topics. Conduct public discussions on State and Union budgets yearly. More…
Training & Discussions

Training and Discussions
CRED conducts training programmes for NGOs and Non-profits on a regular basis. Capacity building is an important component of human resource development in non-governmental organisations. In the backdrop of the kind of work that NGOs are involved with and with the limited resources at their disposal , training can help them to improve their efficiency and focus. CRED also undertakes need assessment of training programmes by identifying gap areas where training is required. The design of training programmes are systematically formulated in consultation with the NGOs.
